Lisa McNett is a visionary leader who carries ancient wisdom. She founded One Breath Institute to share her vision for healing and achieving self-actualization through Introspective Breathwork™, a system designed in collaboration with OBI Co-Founder Debbie Schirmann.
Lisa is driven by a need to understand human behavior. Having faced many extremes throughout her life, she grew to recognize experiences as opportunities to intentionally grow beyond perceived limitations. She chose to heal. She chose life.
In 2006, after experiencing “burnout”, Lisa surrendered to her intuition and left her career in hospitality management. She traveled to India in search of personal healing and transformation. While there, she earned her first certifications in yoga and Ayurveda. Lisa also experienced a ‘Kundalini Awakening’, which changed her and her life path profoundly. After returning to the US, she continued her education in the healing arts. Lisa holds many certifications including Breathwork Practitioner and maintains a focus on developing her intuitive gifts.
Lisa is passionate about helping people heal and integrate adverse life experiences. Over the past 17 years, she has worked with thousands of people from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing incarceration and US Veterans who were at risk of becoming homeless.
The work Lisa does to train and mentor practitioners, as well as help people heal from the accumulated effects of stress and trauma, is far-reaching. When you heal your trauma, that healing extends out into all branches of your life. It ripples throughout your entire lineage - past, present, and future. This is how we collectively heal the world!
